Flying off with my dreams

I've been very occupied with college lately. Stressful, but it will be rewarding in the end with my degree. My favorite subjects so far are Business Law and Macro-Economics. When I got back this semester I notice the campus lunch menu has drastically improved (Yay!) Back then I'd rather order a salad or a to-go sushi box outside of school. Haha! I admit I'm a picky eater. When I'm not on this blog I'm doing a ton of homework and online quizzes. So far I have been updating more of my life through Instagram. At first, I wasn't into Instagram because I just thought it was like Twitter (I never really liked Twitter, even until today I barely get on.) However I realized how Instagram is more entertaining and it gives me the chance to express myself whatever is going on at the moment. I also got a new Canon camera because I felt like I needed a serious upgrade. Instead of splurging on a USD $300+ new camera, I decided to settle down with a 2nd hand camera that I got from the pawnshop.

Beautiful cranes who weren't afraid to take their photos

Just recently I calculated my GPA and gave an estimation. I'm expecting to graduate sometime next year between after the summer or fall semester. I'm hoping the most earliest would be after summer because I want to work on seeing my relatives in Philippines and Australia, making plans to move in with my boyfriend, and getting a new job. Just a lot of adulting on my plate right now. I'm very happy that Kyle has been so sweet and supportive with me. I'm blessed to have him. With my current situation with school I have mostly afternoon and night classes. From 1:00 p.m. till 9:45 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Ugh. Just the thought of my schedule alone is stressful hahaha.

I go home late after school during the weekdays

Around early September, Florida had to put up with Hurricane Irma. I didn't have school for about a week. Many people, days before the storm, bought a ton of food, and other necessities. Me and my sister were fully prepared 4 days before Hurricane Irma arrived. Our original plan was to leave Florida but we were like "F*ck it" and decide to stay in Orlando. Monday morning around 1:00 a.m. that's when Irma arrived. Outside we were hearing a ton of things being blown off it was scary! Even our door was slamming like crazy we thought it was gonna be torn off from the building. After surviving the storm, everything was still closed except Waffle House.

Breakfast at Waffle House after Hurricane Irma. Blessed!

Right now I live pretty far from campus. I have to commute for about an hour. Most likely after this semester, I'm moving to a much closer college. I'll be able to get more sleep after I make that switch! On some days my sister comes over and have lunch with me. I try to make time for her too on my days off since I plan to move out of Florida next year. I told her before I move out, I'll buy her a new phone since it's kind of outdated. My sister is lucky she had a jump start ahead with her education and now has accomplished everything she wanted to do in life.

College life keeps me occupied. My sister crashes in to bond with me~

Delicious sushi! I really loved the eel.

Crossing my fingers that I get to see Kyle sometime this December. I miss him so much! We talk everyday and send each other memes constantly. Last time he was here we both went to the beach together (I'm pretty sure it's on my Instagram lol) go to Dave and Busters, also had the chance to see his parents again. Hoping on his next leave he can take another 2 weeks off - that would really be nice! His birthday is coming up soon too, so sometime tomorrow I'll buy him a gift and send it off to the post office. I told Kyle after my Auntie Chong passed away last year, that even though she never had the chance to meet him in person, I'm glad she at least recognize my relationship with him. I was honestly hoping she'd live longer, but that's life.

I love him soooooo much!

I'm still taking my time to get over my aunt's death. She was my favorite relative on my mom side. I have a lot of regrets, but I know she would have wanted me to move on and finish my education. I remember the last time we talked on the phone she was having a hard time breathing and she tried to say "I love you".............this is one of the reasons why I haven't updated so much on this blog because I also wanted space. Since her death, I found more motivation to keep pursuing my goals in life and keeping my passion with photography.
